New York Fashion Week – 2020 Spring/Summer Collections

We begin with New York Fashion Week to analyze the Holy Fashion Month that starts in New York and continues with London, passing through Milan and ending in Paris. New York Fashion Week 2020 Spring / Summer was in the 2nd week of September. Tens of brand new collections presented to the audience. We will also talk about the styles of those who came to watch the fashion show, but the subject of this article is altogether brands and runway. We’ll take a look at the notable brands one by one, what inspired them in their collections, what their main themes are, and what are our favorite pieces. You can find these original pieces from their names already; we will help you to find similar clothes.

MICHAEL KORS

“Inside the Michael Kors’ Spring 2020 runway show. All-American optimism was the theme of Michael Kors’ Spring 2020 runway show, which took place this morning at 10 AM at the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn.” There is a garden-walking atmosphere between tree-lined corridors and wooden benches. Michael Kors said, “I am a New Yorker, and I wanted to reflect the power, optimism, and the attitude of the city that you can do anything. The collection examines the balance of power and romance with pragmatism and charm at the heart of American fashion. That is actually a celebration of the diversity and beauty of American culture.”

I liked the collection in general sense; it has a preppy style — luxury, edgy, modern. The thing I didn’t like was the styling. Looking at the runway, it felt like watching a Fall Collection, not a Spring/Summer. My favorite pieces from the collection are below.

ML Monique Lhuillier – Puff-Sleeve Double-Breasted Blazer

Maggie&Marilyn – Leap Of Faith Blazer Dress

OSCAR DE LA RANTA

This time we’re going to a Latin dream, not an American dream. They wanted to say we didn’t forget where we came from in this collection in memory of the Latin-origin designer. If you’re going to release the Spring / Summer collection, it should be chirping like this. It should have a Mediterranean style. I liked this collection, which smells the Dominican Republic and even carries the colors of the flag in designs. Dynamic, exciting. I think we will see this brand again in red carpets this year. Creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia did a great job.

Marchessa Notte – Strapless Ombre Textured Tulle Gown

Mango – Semi-Transparent Plumeti T-shirt

RALPH LAUREN

Uncle Ralph has created an incredibly beautiful collection. It’s 2019 Fall Collection but still. They look like they were from the 1920s Hollywood’s. Since Ralph Lauren has always supported the idea of the American Dream, the 1920s American, Café Society style dominated the collection. The decoration of the place consisted of creamy white walls, a magnificent stairway, a gleaming black bar, giant urns of white flowers. It had a detailed décor like Chanel’s. Janelle Monáe, who performed at the show, again dressed and sang according to the atmosphere of the show. What can I say? It’s a fashion show that smells totally professional.

Jay Godfrey – Roland V-Neck Long-Sleeve Tuxedo Jumpsuit

Alex Perry – Felix Sequined Long-Sleeve Gown

BRANDON MAXWELL

First of all, the entire collection consists of wearable pieces. For me, this is very important, so I don’t want to seem like I don’t understand art, but unfortunately, I don’t like the fashion shows that I said, “who wears them.” Classic pieces are timeless, and we see this in this fashion show. Maxwell, who generally designs more nightwear and prefers monochrome, has also created plenty of daily clothes, and they have been fantastic. Straight-cut pants, blazers, silk shirts, denim fabrics; He classically put his own style. I love it.

Max Mara – Wool Blazer

Loro Piana – Poplin Belted Flare Dress

TOMMY HILFIGER

Tommy Hilfiger presented the Fall/Winter Collection 2019-2020 during New York Fashion Week. The brand, which always has a specific line, cooperates with Zendaya. The show with the underground theme at the Apollo Theater was fun. Even the models seemed pleased with their situation, which is not usual. Again, daytime elegance was at the forefront of the collection. Plenty of black and white monochrome can be found in the collection. The designer worked on pants rather than dresses and skirts. There are wide-leg, leather, velvet, all style pants. They did an excellent job of successfully modernizing masculinity. And last but not least, I don’t want to go without saying that I love Zendaya so much.

Harris Wharf London – Long Duster Coat

Cinq a Sept – Gaby Tie-Front Snake-Print Shirt Dress
